so pan's labryinth is not a kids movie.
I repeat.
NOT a kids movie.
it was the most gruesome, depressing, scary thing i've ever seen.
I am going to have too many nightmares tonight to even count.

No one ever advertised it as a kid's movie. :-p

i didnt really watch tv all that much during the time that it was advertised, but a lot of people compared it to like a harry potter/bridge to terabithia/chronicles of narnia kinda thing. So, that's what I was expecting.
That's not what I got.

For what it was, it was amazing. But because I didn't expect it, it really, really threw me off.
