Agreed.

That said, that's not how you make a plural possessive. :)

The only time you add an apostrophe and an 's' is when the plural doesn't already end in an 's.'

The boys' soccer team...
The men's soccer team...

Here endeth the lesson.

I agree with all the grammar stuff. That gets on my nerves. But the pronunciation things are different I think. I say samwich. I don't think it's because I'm dumb or can't spell sandwich, it's just because I'm from South Jersey, where everything is pronounced strangely, haha. The whole point, for lack of a better word, of American English, is that it's a corrupted form of proper, or British, English.

everyone accross the nation says "samwich," and it's been bothering me since i learned how to read. it's not a jersey thing. I hate a lot of "american" pronounciations of things. most dialects piss me off.
don't get me started on "wooder"

I really don't think "everyone across the nation" says "samwich." I know I don't. A lot of people, sure. Maybe even half the people. But I've never once heard it pronounced "samwich" unless someone was joking. Is it possible you're just confusing the "nnn" and the "mmm" sound, since they're so close?

And you need to chill with the grammar thing, but I've told you that already, many times.

either way, the "d" should be pronounced.
and we know that i have grammar and prononciation issues, and i know that it annoys the living shit out of you. i dont really care.

Yes!!! And, um, that being said..."write it's own language" should be "write its own language." "Its" only has an apostophe if you are contracting 'it' and 'is.'

Have you read "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" by Lynne Truss?
