Work scheduling, explained!

I forgot to put this in the last reply, but I think it merits its own post. Ahem... This still doesn't take into account having three days notice of Kyle and Johännah coming down, or even seven days, which is far more likely. I understand the concept of scheduling, and of course we'd try to do our best to let you know, but in my opinion its highly unrealistic to expect that much advance notice is even possible.

If that's the case, then there is a low chance of me being able to participate in any activities, unless by some remarkable coincidence I have the day off. Another possibility could be that I let everyone know when I have days off, and schedule around them. I suppose this sounds a little me-centric, but I just want to be able to have fun and hang out with you guys.

I am understand and so are you. zander_nao June 10 2006, 05:58:50 UTC
lol I wasn't trying to exclude you or anything. I think letting us know in advance when your days off are, and seeing if they line up with when Jo and Kyle are passing through when they let us know are two steps in the most reasonable and practical solution for everyone. Of course I'll try to let everyone know as soon as I do, I just wanted you to be prepared in case that wasn't able to take place, considering that we didn't have enough advance notice when you had to miss filmings before and those are our precidents.

Anyhow, as soon as I know you'll know, but it doesn't hurt to keep us advised earlier. Also, I'm impressed with your slightly more regular visitation to LJ. Congrats.

Thanks for understanding. Also, about the LJ thing, it's a lot easier when I don't have much else to pour my time into. Plus, I like knowing what everyone else is doing/thinking/planning.
