I've been waiting for him to win a ranking final for so long! And I was afraid his nerves would get in the way... but he was brilliant!

Just waiting for Ryan('s) Day now, though I suppose that won't be as wildly celebrated on here.

About bloody time - and may he go on to win dozens of hundreds of titles! :D

I'm actually kinda hoping that this is the win that Ali needs to finally win all those other finals he should have won. He's really too good these days to only win one ranking in his career. I'm looking forward to lots of Ali squee in the future ;)

He do the winning, I do the squeeing, and that's a promise!

(And when's he going to thank LJ fans, eh? Eh?) (Come to think of it, I bloody well hope never.)

He was just being the most lovely little being in the whole world. I was sending him special thought waves of jam, in between trying not to look like I'd drunk too much wine on the telly and trying to work out how to get to the front.

Joe had a very sweaty hand at the end of the match, ewww. But I shook it anyway. (That was me, dark hair, glasses, bluey top)

Oliver Hides is not so much daft, as a pointlessly smug waste of space. I had to restrain myself from slapping him on Saturday, because he was just THERE for no good reason. Tomorrow or sometime, there will be lots of photos and video once I find the magic string to join my camera to the internet.
