A few days into the World Championship and you realise that it DOES things to you. The sheer amount of snooker watched, the long matches, the inevietable brain-draining that results from the mandatory missfests and snoozingly bad safety bouts - it all gets to you. The BBC should pay you lots.

Also, as Dr Who is filmed in Cardiff, I could be an extra, and look after Ali and make sure he was sufficiently lovely.

You can be in charge of Ali and his general well-being. As the script writer, do I get to go there too? Can we have David Tennant in a cameo role? And perhaps Stephen Fry? I know this might be pushing it, but it would be ever so good.

If this happened I'd so not even need lots of money, just a little bit and the travel and hotel expenses *nods*
