With today being a reclothing day, I've got some extra sleep in and some extra time on my hands, so this is a bit of a catching-up post with extra random thrown in. Not that many are posting on LJ about the worlds this year, compared to the frenzy of last year. Perhaps we just have to get to round 2

Completely agree there. White is classy, but obviously not for everyone. Not that I'm saying that Maguire isn't classy... wait, no. 'Classy' might not be the word for him, come to think of it.

The snooker isn't going to be terrible, I have a good feeling about today. It's going to be grrrrrreat! I hope. Scared again now o.O

Stephen was adorable yesterday! I loved the giggling (and that tattoo is so sweet!). I don't like Shaun either, but his wife... I mean, she must have loved him at some point, right? And then to do something like this. What a bitch.

They are so cute with the giggling and the talking. In fact, there's been a lot of that so far this year. Lovely boys talking to each other when they're sitting down.

My excuse for not posting all the time is being stuck at boring crappy old work. However, I will make up for it over the next few days with LIVESQUEEEE between matches from the pub, and LIVETWEET between frames. I might have to set up one of those desperately annoying things that exports my tweets to LJ so that everyone can see me get excited/depressed in one bite sized chunk rather than having to be in twitter and lj as well.

And I will make photos happen. There will be photos, oh yes.

Smurph's missus must have got the idea from the Selby writ-serving fiasco in Newport. She would have got herself arrested too. I don't think it was ever going to really happen, it was all about giving him a scare.

Ronnie on Saturday morning, Neil/Ali on Saturday afternoon, Higgins on Saturday evening. After that I don't know, my friend has the tickets, but I suspect it's table 1, all sessions through to Tuesday morning.

How did you survive 5 matches yesterday? How have you been able to concentrate that long?

I am still waiting for my crush of the championship :) Two years ago it was Mark Selby (became runner up and won the Welsh Open in the following season) and last year Ali of course (became runner up and won the Welsh Open in the following season). My girlfriend plans to bet and win a fortune, but it's too early to tell :)

I think my crush of the championship is the same as the 2007 one, where I went from being a huuuge Hig fan to dumping Hig (I'm sure he doesn't really mind) for Stephen M, during their semi. Oopsie? :D

The Wave of Ali Love last year was gorgeous, but I can't see the same level of mania happening this year. Oooor perhaps Jamie will sail up this year, thou, if he stays in the tournament for another round?
