A bonus House review!

When the episode involving the cyclist aired in the fall, I was on the road home from California. I always meant to review it when it came back around in the summer. I tried to avoid any comments informed by knowledge from episodes I wouldn't have seen yet the first time around.

*******
I liked that the episode didn't revolve around the cyclist claiming that he was clean, only to be proven a liar. He just went ahead and admitted his blood doping right off the bat. I also thought that the eventual reason for the cyclist's problems -- he fell ill because he STOPPED his race preparations -- was very elegant.

I know I shouldn't have been taken in by House's big speech during group therapy, but damn, if he wasn't convincing!

House's "Cleanup on Aisle 3!" remark after the cyclist fell to the floor was a little nasty even by his standards.

House's burglary was a fantastic way to end the episode. It was a perfect encapsulation of him -- using his disability to cynically manipulate someone on the way to commit a hideous breach of ethics.
