Dr. House pisses off the WRONG guy.

I thought the introduction of David Morse's cop was sadly devoid of subtlety. He might as well have been wearing a T-shirt with "EXTREMELY HOSTILE" on it. But he does look promising as a foil for House; he's a lot more of a threat than Vogler, who merely wanted to have House fired.

I wonder if the writers selected the rectal thermometer as House's weapon of choice as a clever nod to TV history? On St. Elsewhere, Morse played a doctor who was raped in prison.

I liked the ending. House was just coming off having Dr. Foreman pull the wool over his eyes when the cop tracked him down and busted him.

Speaking of Foreman, I hope we see more of his relationship with that nurse. Not one of House's team members has been shown in a relationship of note thus far in the series. It's about time.

Kudos to Dr. Chase for admitting, once again, that he is a little lacking in the morals department compared to Foreman or Dr. Cameron. The scenes when he shows off his heart of gold wouldn't have near as much punch if we weren't often reminded of his failings.

When the brain biopsy was brought up, I thought the show missed an opportunity by not referring back to the procedure that Cameron did on Foreman last season.
