Formal
Short recap:
Alex picked up Suzy on Thursday from Memphis, showed her around Oxford, went to atlanta on friday, went to eat at Pappadeaux's, saturday went to Coke museum and High Museum of Art, Formal, drove home on Sunday, took Suzy to the airport. Funnest weekend ever.
Ok, so I had a test at 1pm when Suzy's plane was supposed to land. So Alex, being the wonderful friend he is, went to get her for me. Once she got here, I gave her a walking tour of the campus which she loved. Then we sat in the Grove till dinner time just talking. I took her out to Old Vinice which was nice. Then we went and hung out at the apartment that night. Friday, I had to go to my 8 and work at 9, but then Suzy, Alex, Allison, and I headed out for ATL around one. The weather was HORRIBLE the entire way. Many times I'm sure Alex couldn't see 5 feet in front of him. So we made it to ATL later than planed so Suzy and I went to eat with a bunch of people at Pappadeaux's (seafood). It was great. So then we came back and hung out at the hotel. Saturday morning we went to the Coke museum. It was really cool, my favorite part was trying the different drinks from around the world. Gingerale from Isreal is freaking awesome. After that, we walked around the underground for a while then Dustin, Christina, Seepe, his g/f, Suzy and I went to the High Museum of Art and spent the afternoon there. It was really cool, saw a Monet (fav. artist) and all was right with the world. Went back to the hotel to take a nap before formal. Had formal that evening and I must say Suzy was absolutely beautiful in her dress. Formal was great, I won lots of interesting/embarrassing awards, and fun was had by all :) Sunday morning came and Alex, Allison, Suzy and I headed back to Oxford. We somehow got lost on the way in Birmingham and drove around for an extra hour. But we all survived thank goodness. I then drove Suzy to the airport in Memphis to catch her flight. It was hard sayin goodbye after such a wonderful weekend.
