New Year's Eve fell on one of my regular days off, leaving me available to make plans. It had been years since I'd actually done anything interesting and I really didn't feel like spending it alone, so I was relieved when I had lunch with Rich the day before and he suggested meeting up in Atlantic City. On the issue of Mets tickets, definitely. I know it's probably going to be a pain in the ass getting them for the first season at Citi Field, so if you'll have a game here and there that you want to sell, count me in on that.

NHL-wise, it would be cool if they made it possible for us to get a discount on tickets, but they don't. I could definitely help you out on merchandise if you're ever looking to get a jersey or any other kind of apparel -- I get 30 percent off at the store and 15 percent online.
