I highly recommend stats, even if you'd rather take calc, for the pure joy and bliss of having Niemiec as a teacher. He's the only math teacher even closely resembling a quality teacher/person while I was at South and, luckily, he is excellent at being both. (At the same time!)

remember the placement test at the U is designed for you to get 50% on. I felt extremely stupid after taking it. don't let the test ruin your plan, talk to the Adviser (something I wont be able to do).
