It feels very odd to be back in London. I'm unsure how much I actually like it. Though that can be a peril of remembering that I like quiet, space, going for walks and the countryside - London isn't so hot on any of those. Particularly not the hills and countryside thing ( Read more... )

Sorry I didn't get in touch with you whilst I was in Macc, I've been insanely busy this week with christmas, 2 family birthdays and a huge family row.

Hope you had a good time at home anyway.

Montreal had a big park with a huge hill right in the middle of it. I think more cities should have that sort of thing.

hey when I was in Brighton I found a thing for a women's walking group based in London but they go somewhere about an hour from London on the train each weekend. I'll see if I can find it. The Chilterns in Hertfordshire where I grew up are very nice, and there's also the South Downs.
