I'm back from J-town! Thanksgiving was good, but there was not enough time. I got to do some Christmas shopping (yes, I got up at 4 Friday morning... by choice!), I hung out with my best friend and I of course had the infamous "Nelson Thanksgiving". hey--you used a moving UHaul van to get all your stuff to Nashville, right?

how did that go?

I'm still trying to think about ways to get all that art stuff back to WA state after my show. I'm thinking about just shipping all of it. It'll be expensive, but I don't really know about a whole lot of other practical options. : (

What did you do with all your art stuff when you moved? Did you put it in storage or something? (or did you manage to see the majority of it? : ))

Hey girly! I miss you! I used two cargo vans from Enterprise to move. Everything barely fit!! I would recommend that and not Uhaul. Uhaul would have been around 900, but this only cost us 42 dollars a day per van. I sold about 7 or 8 pieces I think, and I took 4 with me to put on my own walls. I'm self centered, what can I say ;) The rest are at home in my basement, yeah! lol.

By the way, will you be in MI at Christmas or are you heading home? Just wondering, bc I'm coming back home for Christmas :)

did you have to pay for gas though too? I just looked that up... I think it would probably be around $700 including gas for taking a minivan from here to WA. but that *doesn't* include hotel money...

I'll be back in WA state for a couple weeks. I'm taking a jterm this year though, so I'll be back after Jan 2nd or 3rd!--will you still be up here after that?

Yeah, you have to pay for the gas, but you would in a Uhaul too. That's a pretty long trip to WA! I'm going to be home from the 21 to the 28 of December (I think that's what's going to happen), so I guess I won't see you :( I figured, but thought I would check anyways :)
