That the seasons have paved for us
T/N: Melody was actually written a couple of years ago, way before AYABIE was formed. Yumehito presented the demo again and again for each song-choosing session, but it never seemed to make it to the final selection. When planning for the VSC 2nd season album, the members had originally wanted to include this as part of the tracklist, but later decided that the song would be stronger as a single, and hence delayed its release. This is why the lyrics of Melody echoes themes from a couple of songs in the VSC 2nd season album - it is meant as part of their message to the fans.
