Definitely good for your first time using PS. It's a big program! I would make sure anti-alias is on for text (it will smooth it out) and that your aspect ratios for resizing and cropping are set correctly. (Like in 18, their heads are really stretched out).

I think these are awesome! I really, really like them and I'd offer some advice, but I know nothing of PS or of icon-making, heh. So I'll just let you know that I think you're doing lovely work, and I'm coming back to take some later (right now my computer is being screwy...o_0).

you are quite talented for a beginner, i am impressed! i love the text you chose on a lot of them...very creative!

i took: 5 6 8 11 15 19 scully: 20 11

obviously i loved a lot of them...i took like ten lol.
