i think it's pretty lame that they're being packaged with wii-sports and selling for 250 instead. i mean, who plays SPORTS games on a nintendo?

I thought the same thing! My brother just told me about that, and I thought "pfft, well there's something i could care less about." haha

Super Mario Strikers! I like to play the long ball. Nothing but half field shots on goal for me.

I know what you mean though. I enjoy to spend less money as opposed to more for things I do not care about. I suppose this is an obvious sentiment.

I want a DS. There is something about a fat man in overalls dunking on an ape in a tie during a game of three on three that is immensely appealing to me.

okay i thought about it and changed my mind, i guess sports games won't be so bad because of the new controller... (and hopefully easy wifi connection...)

but either way... yes you need a DS! i play it sooooo much.

its not a game, its just a built in utility to customize a 3d avatar for some of the games like wii sports. maybe you're looking for this one? http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/topics/wii_preview/movie/lineup.html

I had fully intended to wait for the first price drops before purchasing any of the next generation consoles, but $250 US is quite reasonable. This is somewhere in the neighbourhood of $275-$300 CAN, and I plan to split it with my room mate Charles. I haven't been following any news or media for any of the new systems, but I am now really excited! This will most definitely be the first console I purchase.
