Preliminary Survey Stuff

As many of you know, I am planning on releasing a Furry Mental Health Survey at some point in the next 3 months. While researching psychological tests to use in this survey, a few things came up...namely, the time it takes to complete them. I've also tossed around ideas for administering my survey. I think if given the opportunity, it would be a ( Read more... )

I answered the questions based on the assumption that I would be answering your survey. If a random person approached me and asked me to take a survey about what products I liked better my answers would have been different. I would spend upwards of 30 minutes on a mental health survey that was going to be used to further research for a familiar face.

I'm glad you're finally doing this. I know we've talked about it a few times but this is great!

If you need anything...let me know! :D

I think that the amount of time people would be willing to spend taking a survey is directly related to the offer of compensation. I suspect people would be more willing to spend 15+ minutes taking a survey if they were being compensated than if they were doing it for free. The downside is that there will also be some segment of the population that won't fill out a survey that takes 15+ minutes for any amount of compensation, particularly at a convention where time can be a precious commodity.

you have a point.... I would be willing to spend about I don't know.... 20 mins per $5 or equal
(so that's 40 mins for a personalised cong badge)

but I'm easy... I'll still spend at lest 15 mins on a survey that is easy and interesting for free

I agree. Though, the incentives depend on the amount of money I'm granted to do this. At the very least, participants would be entered in a drawing to win one of the three incentives. I can pay for that out of pocket.

PS - I love your icon :)
