The Wings lost to the Flames in game 6. As damashita so elegantly put it, they're off to play golf.

I know that everything changes, and we must all adapt to survive, but I would have been very happy to see Scotty Bowman standing at the bench looking like he was having the slowest heart attack in history while Fedorov, Larianov and Hull pasted Kiprusoff.

Holy shit, I'm just flat-out stunned. I thought for sure that Detroit would pull out of it. I'm sorry they lost. :(

I know, me too. We're watching the third period of the Colorado/San Jose game, and it's pretty grim thusfar.

I actually like Colorado. Peter Forsberg is, in my opinion, probably the greatest shooter in the NHL right now, even when he's not.

But I like to see them get their asses kicked by Detroit, of course. The Avs/Wings matchup is the highlight of the cup series, to me, and the fact that it's not happening this year is bumming me seriously.

Yeah, Forsberg is incredible to watch. He's really something! I'm so bummed that the Avs lost.

Oh well. There's always next year. And at least the Lightning are still in it. :-D
