My cousin John got his pictures up quick (he already has a website for them, and only had a 3 hour flight home, as opposed to our 14 hours, so that's why he's not in any of these pictures - he'll be in the ones *I* took when I post them later).
My Aunt Barbara and Uncle Peter's house in Grankulla, Finland - during what was a pretty mild and un-snowy winter. I believe that is Aunt Jackie (in the blue coat) and Aunt Barbara (in the black coat) walking up to the door. And that is my Uncle Peter's red van.
My cousin John taking a picture of me taking a picture. That's my Aunt Jackie and my cousin Alex in the door next to me. This is Camilla's kitchen at her house in Kyrkslatt, not too far to walk (about a mile) from her parents' house above. Christmas Eve dinner was at her house.
My Uncle Peter played "Father Christmas" and dressed up and brought a big bag of presents in. In Finland, they do presents on Christmas Eve, so we're still in Camilla's living room, here. That's Camilla standing at her door, and me sitting in the chair with the gift ribbon in my hair, and John's daughter Emily on the floor admiring her new shirt. And Robi, Camilla's little brother, in the door behind her, if you can see him in the dark kitchen!
Aunt Jackie, Aunt Barbara and Landon on Camilla's couch. It's actually not all that late yet, but it gets dark at around 2:30pm or 3:00pm.
MaryGrace (John's wife), Emily (John's daughter) and me (biting my lip)
Then on Christmas Day, we go to Aunt Barbara and Uncle Peter's house. Down in their living room, left-to-right-ish: MG & John's daughter Claire, Uncle Peter's sister Susanna, Alex in all black, MaryGrace, Emily, me showing my best side, and Landon sitting down on the couch. (He still can't walk yet)
The dinner table for Christmas Day, set with Christmas Crackers John and MaryGrace brought from London. They had music in them, and 18 whistles, a complete octave (two whistles per octave), so that we could play Christmas music. John tried doing Jingle Bells, but everyone got frustrated and he made me conductor, as below.
I made them do "Joy to the World" instead, because it uses the whole octave. It wasn't on the music, but I just made it up as we went along. We won't make the Philharmonic, but we had fun!
The whole family, except John, of course.
Playing the game Landon and I bought for Emily, called "Imagine If" - going around the table counterclockwise, it's Camilla, Claire, MaryGrace, Emily, me, Landon.
Camilla took us Icelandic horseback riding on Monday. It was BITTER cold, and our cameras froze, but we did manage to get one or two pictures. This one is inside the stables before riding - from left to right: me, Emily, MaryGrace, and Aunt Barbara. My horse, Kulle, was the slowest one again, which they did on purpose, as the pregnant lady is not allowed to gallop.
And finally, the whole family. Here goes nothing!
Top Row: MaryGrace Gleason, Peter Fagerman, Jackie Gleason, Robi Fagerman, Barbara Fagerman
Middle Row: Claire Gleason, Linn-Sophie (Robi's girlfriend), Camilla Fagerman.
Bottom Row: Landon Solomon, Suzanne Solomon, Emily Gleason, Alex Fagerman, and JOHN GLEASON! We got him in one!
More pictures when Landon and I upload ours.
