congrats on the promotion! I work in hospitality myself! I'm the Accounts Recievable clerk at my Hotel. (I hope yours doesn't have to call you as much as I have to call my catering department!)

well, our A/R "department" is one person. we only have 64 rooms, but 4000 sq. ft. of meeting space, so i am in charge of a pretty large chunk of the revenue each year. they are pretty good about calling for payment themselves!

I'm only one person, too- with a 270 room property. At least they have the # to call! I would be happy to do that, if the ones I called them about had a banquet event order that HAD billing details and a phone number. Although, we get billing issues with groups that aren't set up for direct bill.

hey congrats on the promotion! which hotel are you working at again? can you hook me up with a sweet deal when I come to town? ;) also, what are you doing for the 4th? I might be in town... :)
