Sins Of The Father Picscam
Damnnnnn this episode was just EPIC!!!! It was complete AWSOME SAUCE. It was so good I even decided to write my first review hehe. sorry of it sucks but it had to be done :D
Ok you already know the plot so I'll just go over the best bits :D Firstly:
MORGAUSE!!
Daaamnn was this girl badass or what! I LOVED her she was such a strong female character. And she remained mysterious and she didn’t die! On this show that can only mean that she’s going to return. It’s inevitable :D
GIRL POWER!!!!!!
She really proved how bad Camelot’s guards are too. She got past all of them in about 20 seconds. At least Arthur managed to at least double that *eye roll*. Camelot really needs to create a new employment method.

THIS is the interaction we have been missing since series 1! I have liked most of their scenes together, but so far in this series I was always left unsatisfied. But after this I have that warm fuzzy feeling inside again, reminding me of why I love them so much *hugs them both*
-The talks; awww Merlin little pep talk before Arthur went to fight Morgause, and then his teasing afterwards when Arthur was feeling humiliated. I can't blame him for gloating a little haha. Not so almighty today now are we my lord? - I suppose it’s not really that easy to take a woman apart with one blow ;)
hehe look at his face-awwww *squishes*
The whole rope scene was hilarious XD What with merlin’s expressions as the rope went up his trousers *cue dirty thoughts*. And Merlin insisting he could hold Arthurs weight. Evidence that In those times physics was unheard of.

Oh Merlin......
-The bonding scene! I loved how Arthur could share such personal information with Merlin and it really showed how much their friendship has grown and the trust that’s been built between them. This was definitely one of my favourite parts of the episode and I hope there are more moments like this to come in the next few episodes.
Look at the looks!!! The gazes!!! The eyesex!!!There care for each other so much ^_____^
And we got mention of Merlin’s dad which was a newbie! Hoping for that to be resolved in a later episode, probably next series.
I just put this in for the pwetty. Lovely romantic destination don’t you think? Plus when I saw this scene I was happily reminded of Bradley’s impression of his horse sitting down and him falling into the lake XD Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

REUNION!!!!!
This whole scene was just so magical It took my breath away. The lighting with the candles and the slow motion of the leaves movement was lovely. And then to top it off there’s the mother/son reunion.
Bradley’s acting in this part was superb! He really showed the desperation to see his mother, and the guilt of thinking that it’s his fault she died, and then his lost disbelieving look when he finds out he was born of magic. And how Merlin was upset for him as well. It was a very bittersweet scene.
The fight!!! I was literally cowering at the force of Arthur’s anger! That’s some amazing acting on Bradley's part again, and Tony’s. The tension between them was so intense! And the look on Uther’s face when he realised that his son actually was prepared to kill him, and when he had to defend himself and almost got Arthur.
The surprise and hurt in his expression just says it all...
Uthers continued lies made me very angry. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. For a moment I couldn’t help but want him dead too. It would make life a whole lot easier for Merlin too. But Arthur’s still not ready to be King, and I don’t like the idea of him killing his daddy :( Oh and ye...It’s a family show :S
And then Merlin running in all desperate and pleading! I was surprised he didn’t follow Arthur straight away. He was so angry it was obvious he was up to no good.
It was so poignant that Arthur only believed that his dad wasn’t guilty when Merlin told him! And the way he collapses breaks my heart. Still. That along with the fact that Merlin is giving up that hope from earlier that Arthur doesn’t hate magic. Poor BB’s :(
The teeaaarsssss!!!!!!..... :’( So heartbreaking, and he’s trying to smile and go along with Arthur ‘No problem’ At this point i had tears in my eyes too. Giving up so much for Arthur once again. Cue quote ‘everything I do is for him’
I actually didn't mind the ending at all. I was really upset that Arthur had to be lied to and now doesn't trust magic. But what was Merlin meant to do?! He had little time to do anything, no time for plan and it was the simplest thing he could do to stop Arthur killing his father (which I agree would have destroyed him). Also, if he’d have tried to split them apart he would have got sliced-Arthur was crazy mad I wouldn’t put it past him to hurt even his boyfriend at that time.... Of course he’d make it up to him later in bed Merlin would understand and forgive him straight away cause they are two sides of the same coin and therefore have that special bond :)
I’m not going to include the last part because I didn’t like that they laughed at the end. I could feel it coming and i was like noooo don’t do it!!! And they did. >:( But I did like The Uther/Merlin scene with him apologising. Typical that he still threatened to hang him though *shakes head*
OH! and I've just remembered! Morgana and Morgause! Half Sisters!!! How kwl is that!!! I suspected it from the moment she talked about the bracelet. That will be interesting later on.
And ye...I’ve realised that I did go through the whole plot anyways lol. Can’t wait for next week! Merlin and Freya look so cute together. I’m still going to remain very jealous throughout though. Lucky girl!
