The thought of seeing him in his last few days must be extremely daunting, but if you can steal yourself to spend time with him while he's still alive, it might make it easier for him to cope with what is happening. It's a difficult thing to comtemplate, as you already have a final good memory to remember him by. But anything anyone can do to make him feel better would be preciously good.
i think i probably will go and see him... i wasn't sure how much he was aware of people who were there, but my mum took my sister to see him yesterday and she said he smiled for a second.
that was my first thought, but i don't know how aware of things he is because of the morphine and just his body breaking down. i think he might be though, so i probably will go along.

that was my first thought, but i don't know how aware of things he is because of the morphine and just his body breaking down. i think he might be though, so i probably will go along.
