Seriously though, does anyone believe anything other than the clearly obvious fact that Palin was chosen only to woo the female vote and bring some youth to the McCain campaign?

i believe that was a major factor, among a few others, which make her an obvious choice for mccain.
in all honestly her name has been thrown around for at least a few weeks now, which was at the least when i first heard about her. most people preferred to put there money elsewhere, mainly because picking her would be risky and most people assumed mccain didn't have the brass for it.

well yeah, but what other point is there in selecting a vice president other then to try to use them to collect more votes?

i was thinking more along the lines of him enhancing his/the parties image with female voters, and possibly trying to sway the malcontents that supported Hillary.

Let's attack Obama's experience.

Let's pick the VP candidate with the least possible amount of experience!

so many people have already fallen into the trap of attacking palin for her experience, i hope it continues as long as possible.
1. shes running for vp, not to be president of the leader of the free world.
2. yes its true, she was a mayor of a town with a population of about 6,000 during the same time obama was a 'community organize'.
3. neither are qualified to run for president at this point, which is why palin became governor, and has been for about the same amount of time obama has been in the senate (i am only counting the time before obama started running for potus).

even though its possible to discern my personal opinion in the above 3 points, i think the relevant information is presented objectively enough. i don't know how someone can be aware of each candidates respective 'experience' and continue to attack palin with any amount of intellectual honesty.

There's a difference in attacking (which you just did, attacking an innocuous comment that wasn't directed at you but you still felt the need to defensively jump on) and me simply pointing out political hypocrisies and double standards.

i was also simply pointing out something that not only is wrong but harmful to your man and if you felt 'attacked' then i would recommend that you try to not take these things so personally.

I'm not so much concerned with the question of weather Palin has the experience to be America's VP,

I'm concerned with John McCain's temperament and judgment to be our President.

His choice of the eminently unqualified Palin pretty much answers that question.

using this same rationality what does the nomination of obama say about the temperament and judgment of democratic voters?
