Does anyone else remember IPSO candy from the mid-eighties? It came in a small square plastic box that you could interlock with other square plastic IPSO boxes, or even Legos, for that matter. Anyone? Anyone?

Man, that candy sounds AWESOME. I wish I had heard of it. I tried looking it up on the web, and all I found was some reviews of a Dutch beer called Ipso Facto. I don't think you were guzzling beer as a kid and mistaking it for a candy, so that can't be it...
