Ding! feels like level 43 though, except i'm getting to the age where i need a red convertable. :D

Things have been pretty good here, even if a bit hot. Job wise they've been traning me on the new equipment being we've been bought out by Ricoh, and seems cannon is gonna screw us over (big suprise there). Just as well, after working on them for 10 years..then seeing the new stuff. Damn. Designed by technicans, they're easy to work on, you can run them and make readings at the same time (unlike canon, where if you try to get to a board to do voltage checks..you have to take ten other boards off to get to it, meaning you can't run it..so you can't check whats going wrong which is the POINT of wirechasing like that.) So looking forward to getting to work on more of the new stuff, and less of the old.

Still behind on bills, though slowly nibbling my way through them, We're getting overtime which should help, even though i really don't wanna spend my weekends in a hot warehouse with no AC. but for time and a half...well.. ok. Got a couple hundred new machines to put together and get shipped out, before the end of the month. (minor rant here. They're always delivering at the end of the month-WHY do they wait till the end of the month to put them together?)

Homefront is well as well, though with Bu losing her job end of next month, we may have to change our plans a bit on the wedding thing. Which we were still working out, I'd really like my folks to be there , but lets be honest. Mom won't know whats going on, and can't really leave the house anymore. Only way Dad can be there is if we do the wedding in Panama City, and even then it's iffy. So since if she can't get a new job lined up before her old one goes poof, it's down to the courthouse and let a judge do it. We can always do something with friends and family later after all, but still, there goes the idea of a Bat'leth wielding honor guard. ;)

It's also put some other plans on hold, right now i've got about 2/3 of the parts to do the lower reciever for project EBR (EEEVIL Black Rifle, my AR 15 build) but not gonna be able to drop the clams for the upper reciever/barrel assembly. But that's just as well, being that pretty much everyone in the country is out of stock on those parts anyway. Hell can't even find ammo for Sascha, my SKS. (Really need to find one of those plastic adjustable stocks for that, Bu has short arms, and would be more comfortable with the shorter stock) Just a year ago, you could get 7.62X39 Ruskie ammo for cheaper than dirt. Still kicking myself for not buying that case of 500 rounds for 50 bucks. Even if I don't shoot it myself, could always resell it since it's now going for about 50 cents a round when you can find it. Ah well.

Trying to sell the car as well, as a way to save money on car payments. Bu has her GTI, and her folks offered uses of a 2000 golf mit Automatic, which my slowly getting worse left knee would REALLY appreciate. problem is...the Aveo has 130k miles. Even though I get 30+mpg, it has 130k miles..and I owe about 3500 on it still. Another year and it's paid for, but by then, will i get anything for it? or just hang onto it, as I'll have a niece who's gonna be sixteen soon. Gawd I feel old sometimes. Level 44. and diddn't even get a boos to my Dex or Stamina this level.
