I'm a geek...

I was reading a thread pitting characters from the Baldur's Gate games against each other, and then I started wondering who would win in a fight between Elminster, Gandalf, Raistlin and Merlin. Guess there is some truth to my jokes that my head is a permanent crossover. *laughs ( Read more... )

I do think it would be rather a stretch to get most of those to fight each other. I know nothing about Raistlin other than him being in those books by the author whose last name starts with 'W' and he has hourglass eyes. The other three would more likely want to chat rather than fight...

*nods* True. It would be out of character for Gandalf at least. Not sure about Elminster as I am not too familiar with him...Raistlin might find a way, though, as he is from what I understand one manipulative power-hungry, evil son of a b*tch.

Then Mewtwo would come and kick all their butts, because nobody can beat Mewtwo. *nods sagely*

*spits her water at her monitor* Now that I would pay to see. I have always said that Pokemon would make good familiars for mages anyway. :P

If you should feel guilty, blackjackrocket would be dead from guilt already.

I feel guilty so easily. It's all part of the whole genetic niceness package I got stuck with.

Some boylove make you feel better? *points to icon*
*hugs* I know what that's like... I am constantly scared of hurting people. But no need to feel guilty for liking Pokémon. Nooo. Myself, I'm wanting to read the original manga, (as opposed to the animanga based on the anime I think I've seen somewhere) because people in I think bad_rpers_suck said it was a LOT darker and really neat.

Raistlin would win hands down, because he's simply the coolest.

Yeah, and according to my fiance, who has read most of his books, he wiped out the entire pantheon of Krynn, so anyone who can do that would be hard to beat.

TOTALLY.
Although Gandalf would be close second, IMO. ^_^

Oh, yes. It would be a titanic battle.

Raistlin. Or Gandalf. XD Heehee.
Um...there's nothing wrong with liking Pokemon! I saw this one ep with this surfer dude. It was so adorable, and it made me feel warm and fuzzy.
Everyone needs to feel warm and fuzzy sometimes. ^_~

Oh, yes. It's addictive. I can't wait to watch the show, since I have only played the games. Stupid Norwegian TV. *bites it*

Nothing wrong with being a geek. I once had a conversation that started along the lines of "What do you think is the toughest animal on Earth" and ended up as "Could a gold dragon beat the Enterprise E?" Geeky is fun.

As for the whole who would win, I dont really know Raistlin so I'd say if it ever occured I'd back Gandalf mainly as he's got that whole Demi-god thing going on.

ANd pokemon is cool, although I prefer the original game to any of the other merchandisy stuff.

*laughs* Sounds like a fun conversation.

*nods* True. Raistlin has killed gods, though. So I think it would be a close battle between the two, at least.

I play the Pokemon games myself. Haven't had a chance to look into much else.

I've got a perfectly normal (well, almost) mortal assassin who could harm Gods if he wanted to. Not kill them, probably, but cause some harm.

He just can't be assed to, because the Gods haven't really done anything to bother him, and it's a lot easier to just shout at them when they do get on his nerves.
