I don't think my teacher had even heard of him, so of course it's my duty to educate her on him. *grins* Read him when you have time. No rush.

Our local public library has suddenly satred carrying lots of SF&Fantasy and comics, wonder what happened.

Anyway. I wonder what did you find out about the tranbslation of Pratchett? I have been pondering how to translate some of the stuff every once in a while when I've read tehm , but have been to lazy to check out the translation. Sadly I often find that SFF is poorly translated, or at least poorer than the average level of novel translation should indicate.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one feeling energized after donating blood, it seems to worry the staff and they always stuff me buns and biscuits, worrying.

Our local library's carried a lot of SF&Fantasy for ages. They just stuff it in the children's/young adult section.

As far as I can tell, the translation is pretty decent. I have a few minor quibbles with it, but as far as I can tell, the translation of Pratchett is actually better than I'd have expected.

I didn't tell the staff about feeling so energized, it didn't really hit me until I was out the door. Dad says it's fairly normal, actually.
