As the days have gone by, there are always things that happen that remind me to remind myself, Meana and her mom why it is so important to love yourself first. Well, last Saturday a 33 yr. old guy, with whom I worked for a year back in 2001, shot himself in the head because he didn't want to deal with the agony and depression of going through his second dumping with a girlfriend. He was a good guy and friend who just wanted to be loved, and as I saw him in his coffin during the visitation day, it reminded me again how much I respect the adversiveness of depression and how I deal with depression everyday. And the best way to deal with it is to love yourself first and not let anyone make you feel guilty about that.

i do love myself and i'm not depressed. i used to be really badly depressed all the time and all the people who stuck with me for those few years know how bad i was. but i havent been in a constant state of depression for a little more than a half a year or a year or something like that. and if you ask people to describe me you get "carefree, hyper, and always happy." that was my goal, and i definatly achieved it. I'm sorry about your co-worker. i really am. and i dont know what the word "adversiveness" means.
