WTF!!!!

I'm sorry but WTF! You can't kill Marian! She's an important part of the Robin Hood story.  She's part of the legend.  So you can't bloody kill her!  And if she is indeed back for next series, I

and anyway the ledgend has it that marian dies after the king is home, there's an attack on a castle and she's killed by a stray arrow. but thats way way way way in the future wen her and marian are old and gray... sort of i think.
and robin dies after being betrayed by a friend.

I'm so devastated that I really can no longer support the BBC as a storyteller. WTF?

It seems to me they just killed any fanbase for a Season 3. The bad guys won, the good guys lost and we are left holding the bag. I feel robbed, like I've been tied to a post and left to die in the desert.

i agree with every word. Marian was Robin's hope. The hope that they wud be married.

Her death was un needed and irrational quite frankly ruined my xmas *humpf*

Yes. The only comparison I have is that Frodo may as well have stepped into the flames.

Every single thing that Robin has been working and sacrificing for is essentially over. HIS King that he so believed in didn't believe in him and turned on him with no proof. Guy couldn't have Marian so neither could Robin. The Sheriff is alive and well to carry on another day. The King pretty much sucked and all Robin's efforts were in vain. All he has to show for it is a broken heart and is a long, long way from home.

I was SO gutted that Carter got killed off. With Will and Djac staying behind, Carter would have made a brilliant new addition to the gang. One of my main pet peeves with Season 2 was the fact that each week Robin was seemingly gaining new allies, only to continually just let them leave. Hello! Robin should be taking all the help he can get

I waited two weeks for this episode. UNBELIEVABLE. never once did it cross my mind that they would pull something like this. If Marian does not come back I am most definitely walking away from this show. I did it with prison break and I can do it again. I don't want a family tv show to pull stunts like this. When does the BBC announce the cast for the next series? does anyone know? If Lucy is not in it then as much as I love Jonas I don't want a show based on revenge only.

That's actually not true. Much is a RH character, it's just he hasn't been used in most recent RH things.
