Statement from the DNC:

"The DNC and the Obama Campaign are unified and working together to elect Barack Obama as the next president of the United States. Was it you who posted that story about the lobbyist who donated 100 dollars, and consequently had it sent back to him with a letter explaining why?

If so, you're 100% the reason I started to like Obama :) I love this policy.

That was me. :) its incredible to me that he's taken this so seriously. i mean... it seems like it should be a given, but few politicians (and none that i can readily remember) have taken it to the level that he has.

I'm proud that he's been one of the most successful fundraising candidates in recent history (or again, the most successful that i can readily remember) despite, and probably because of, this policy.

I completely agree. For the first time in my adult life, I feel like this country is finally going in the right direction. Just think of all the missed opportunities, etc.

And I haven't forgiven George either. I still think he's a slimy piece, but... benefit of the doubt. For now.

By the way, sorry I missed your B-day celebration, but Happy Bday to you!
