I made a good southern dinner tonight...fried catfish, fried okra and fried zucchini slices. It was Sky's first full introduction to southern cuisine and he loved it. Oh MAN I miss me some southern food, that made my mouth water, lol. ;__; You don't know how good you've got it until you move away and nobody has heard of this sort of thing.

(Also glad to see you're doing well and covered in floating hearts ;))

I know what you're speaking of...we had to go to 4 different stores before I could locate catfish that wasn't frozen solid or in "nuggets" (being that we're just about as far north as you can get without being in Canada :B). But perseverance won the evening.

It all started because my husband had never had zucchini outside of bread form, and his last experience with catfish was a live catch out of a doubtful river when he was 13. From his recollection, catfish was horrible. o.o I think I've made a fan of him now with my culinary skills. :D
