XD Thanks! They are definitely just as lazy as their furry counterparts. And I love those shoes, too! They don't fit perfectly because they're from Luts and the arch is just slightly different, but she can balance on them okay, and they're *so* stylish... ;)
So typical of Dmitri and Nikola to fight over the sofa (much like their real life counterparts?)! Also the short attention span and cuteypie faces~~ Now that I see them side-by-side, Belle and Okita really do resemble each other.
And so much yes on that shopping. =A= At least the Pyatnitskis are all wonderfully dressed in their chic preppy outfits? Combined with the exposed brick wall (love!!) this is so totally a hipster hangout hive.
Ahh yes, in real life they do fight over where to sleep. We rearranged the furniture and now they're *both* sleeping at the foot of the bed, whereas before it was just Nikola, so at least twice a night one of them gets kicked off accidentally! I wasn't entirely sure Belle and Okita would look okay together (though I totally knew Okita and Ryo Narasaki would!), but I think they have a bit of a similar lower lip and expression.
I need to shop less! But really Nikola is the only SD17 in the house, and he doesn't fit the SSDF stuff, so it's not like he didn't *need* the clothes... ;)
And *lol* at the wall. We live in the most hipster part of Boston and the brick wall is literally the wall of half our unit! ;)
*flails* You made them a couch! (Did I screech this at you on Twitter? I can't remember.)
I love the one with Nikola's head in Dmitri's lap. And also how they're pretty much acting like forealsies!Nikola and Dmitri, minus cleaning each other's ears. XD
Couch funtimes! I put this on Flickr too but the couch wasn't hard, the tutorial I used is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS59ARzar4Y She does say to hem the bottom of the couch fabric to be at the bottom of the box, but as you can see, I ended up putting the box on top of some thick paperbacks to make it higher, and I think when I do it again I'll make a skirt along the bottom to hide the 'legs'!
Nikola is totally the most adorable! And I love that couch, I just might have to try making one myself! That's another furniture prob that I'd really like.
I lucked out big time at our thrift store today and found the perfect bookcase and an old style school desk in what looks like perfect scale! Both need a little cleaning up, but YAY for my room set up plans!!
The couch was definitely pretty easy! For MSDs a tissue box might work too? As a chair, maybe? And congrats on the furniture finds! Your room is going to be awesome!
