It's Question Meme Time!
This meme has been making the rounds of a few of my friends on my flist. By saying "Come at me, bro", as suggested, I believe, by connorblond, I received the following questions, which I have answered:

1. What made you watch QaF?
David and Keith from "Six Feet Under". "Brokeback Mountain". Watching the stories of David and Keith and Ennis and Jack gave me back my interest in love stories. Both SFU and Brokeback created a feeling of two people in love without pandering to the audience. While watching YouTube vids of Ennis and Jack, I stumbled upon videos of Brian and Justin. I was compelled to get to know them. :)
2. If you could choose one thing you could have (no matter what) - what would it be?
I snap to thoughts about living in New York or travelling there as much as possible. But those thoughts quickly fade as I think and wish for good health for friends and family. If I could also throw in a better paying job, then I could help family more and travel to NYC more often!
3. What's your favourite band (music) and singer?
Arggghh!! I don't know! Def Leppard, I suppose, and Sarah McLachlan Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Shania Twain, Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand, Carly Simon
4. Are you a dog or a cat person?
Cat person! I got my first cat when I was five or six. Big Boy. He passed away in 1989, and I got Kitty in 1990 from my best friend at the time. Kitty passed away in 2009, and I brought my two ankle biters (literally) into my home the next day. They had been abandoned by a country road, and a friend had found them. She put an ad on a site similar to Ebay, and I went to see them before anyone else offered to go to her place to view them. They came home on a trial run, because my heart wasn't in to finding new babies to love. It was quite broken, but I couldn't stand the quietness in the house. They've been here ever since. :)
5. If a friend lies to you, are you able to trust them again?
There is no black and white answer to this. Of course, I always want the truth, but if I say that and believe it completely, where would I be if a friend lies to me for a very compelling reason? I would need to know why the person lied and evaluate their reasons.

1. What are your favorite things about Bella and Lina?
Their wonderful personalities and that they love me and keep my company.
2. Least favorite?
UGH! Bella's crankiness at company and that they both like playing in the dirt in the basement! Their white fur use to be so white! And their quietness. They don't talk to me enough.
3. When you go to NYC, what's your first stop (besides the hotel)?
Times Square! I have to hear the cacophony of the streets!! And join the energy of thousands of people walking the sidewalks looking for a good place to have a bite to eat or rushing to the theatre.
4. How did you get into the candles business?
I've been buying PartyLite candles and accessories since 1998. The company has great monthly specials, but I always seemed to be spending more money than I planned to when hosting a party. My cousin and I had talked about being consultants about a year before we finally signed up. Nothing much has changed. I'm still spending more money on their product than I planned!
5. Is there a movie you've seen so often you could quote every line?
Not really. I saw "Brokeback Mountain" about six times, and I probably could quote a line or two, but my memory doesn't work in that way. Ask me about a client from 10 years ago, and I could tell you who they are and what we did for them. :P
