I figuratively bit my nails last night

I curled low in my chair with a book in hand, looking over it at the TV until around 8:15 when CA came online. Then, I sat up straight and started smiling. And I agree, Mr. Obama is an honorable man, true to his word. He will do as good as a job as the House will let him. He needs to lead now and he will. I have no doubt.

I hope the Republicans will work with the Democrats better during this term. Work for the people and stop blocking ever decent move the President makes, I say!

So glad for your country!

Me too! The world says the States is the leader of the free world. Let's hope people around the world appreciate what President Obama tries to do for his citizens and are inspired by it!

They sure did, Alex! Now I'm hoping that the Republicans will get it through their thick heads that they need to modernize their philosophies in order to become more relevant to the times.

*hugs*

I felt that he would win but it was an immense relief when Rachel Maddow announced that Ohio was in the bag.

Obama is allright. It's his opponents who are so cosmically horrible that I had to support him. NoW CLOSE GUANTÁNAMO.

I had hopes, but the early numbers were scaring me. Whether he's the right person for president, no one will know until he's a part of history, but he certainly is the better human being compared to anything the Republicans throw in the ring.
