#090 - Silly

This is more a silly drabble at the end...It doesn't really suit the theme all that well, but the end...Yeah, that's pretty silly.

Silly

Scorponok didn’t like when it rained.

It made traveling underground difficult. Tunnels in the dirt were too mucky and collapsed easily, the weight of the sodden ground too much for the walls to bear. It didn’t stay packed properly and caved in without warning. The sand was the same; all of his tunnels lay in ruins before he could make good use of them.

It annoyed him to no end. He needed to be underground. His primary functions -aside from assassin, of course- were digging and tunneling. He needed to burrow. He thrived on it.

And rainy weather made that nearly impossible.

It didn’t stop him from trying, however, and he came home incredibly filthy and frustrated each time it rained.

Because of this, Bumblebee also disliked rainy weather.

He grumbled about it each and every time, muttering to himself about crazy Decepticons who didn’t know any better than to stay inside, out of the rain. He was hardly what you would call a neat freak, but he hated when mud was tracked all over the garage. He also hated that it was his responsibility to clean Scorponok when he came home covered in mud. Getting all those crevices and joints clean was such a pain in the aft!

And Scorponok did love a bath…He loved diving for things in the water. Or splashing it all over the place. Or blowing bubbles out of his claw-cannons. He thrummed happily when he was scrubbed, tail wagging lazily and splashing more water where it didn’t belong. He clearly enjoyed it, but Bumblebee usually wound up soaking wet and pretty ticked off.

He could never really stay all that angry about it though, because the sight of Scorponok splashing in the swimming pool that served as an oversized bathtub, covered in bubbles and viciously squeaking the large rubber duck Megatron had left behind, was just too silly to not laugh at.
