August Shokura Report

Jul 08, 2008 11:54

I'm a idiot and accidentally deleted the entry. I just woke up. Oops. Sorry for the deleted comments. D:

Again, things may not be entirely accurate. I'll do my best.

Shige wasn't really the "guest." Tsubasa was. Shige was more of a replacement for Nakamaru. They showed the old VTR of NEWS Abake, where Koyama challenged Shige and asked if he could MC, and Shige said he could. できるよ。So, time to prove it.

There was like, NO ONE THERE tonight. Kisumai and ABC are off with KAT-TUN, half of MAD, MADE, and little chibis are doing Playzone... that left us with:

Shoon
Hasshi
Sanada
Nozawa
4/5 of Question? (lacking Ishigaki, who's off with FiVe supporting KAT-TUN)

Yeah, that was pretty much it. Another group of MAD that I don't know (there's so many of them what). So what did they do? They freakin' brought back half of Hey!Say!JUMP.

1st Opening was a NEWS medley.
2nd Opening was... a NEWS medley, but no singing. Just dancing and calling out the member names. Unusual. I love how some people get full names and others just get one.

Songs:

Tsubasa - Do Me Crazy, with MAD. Mmm, good song. Better with Taipi and Goseki, I think, but still. Good times. Some very violent hip-thrusting, though. O_O

Tsubasa - Yume Monogatari (rock?), with Question?

Tsubasa - There was Venus in there somewhere, I know.

Question? - Parallel World, with some junior replacing Ishigaki on keyboard. I recognized him, but I forget the name.

KAT-TUN Medley - HELLO SHOON. God. He was out front on a box surrounded by people and wearing his black/orange costume, and just let it fall from his shoulders and hang off his arms and a;slkdfjals;djk HE WAS REALLY HOT, OKAY?

Moving on.

Hey Say Post was just Shige... until he called out Chinen, Yamada, Yuto, and Arioka to help him. Umm. RANDOM. Okay.

So then the 4-person HSJ sang a song. No idea what it was called.

Arioka sang Seishun Amigo later, with Sanada and Nozawa (and then others) as backup.

Yuto sang a slow song surrounded by swaying juniors.

Yabu showed up as a "surprise special guest" or something like that. He sang, supported by... erm. Someone very familiar, but the name escapes me.

Yamada sang a solo, too. And by solo, I mean an actual SOLO for once. Alone on stage for the entire thing. Not that it matters, because Yamada's actually really damn talented and can easily hold the stage on his own. Great singer, great dancer... no complaints about that. He was actually the singing highlight of the show basically.

Okay, well, Question?'s Parallel World was great as usual. But wow, Yamada. I am always super impressed with him.

Talks:

I didn't pay so much attention. There was one with the first four HSJ members. Something about impressions? I missed Arioka's. Something about the telephone. TAIHEN! Or something. Then Yamada spoke is a really deep voice (okay, actually his voice is just rather deep in general, gah, so weird) and I think he said "Yamashita Tomohisa desu," which made no sense to me, but then Yuto was like "I'll do Kame!" and proceeds to make faces that... yeah. Like Kame. It was funny. Chinen didn't talk at that point. Later it was just Yamada and Chinen. I forget what they talked about. Finally just Yamada. He said something about wanting to go to the sea over his vacation.

Tsubasa showed pictures from his trip to Spain.

Um.

Appearances:

Shige. Is blond. It's not as bad as I was imagining (I was thinking platinum), but it's... not great. Kind of blends into his skin color and. Yeah. Could have picked a better shade.

Fujiie is black again, and his hair is not so huge. It looks good! :D

Games:

1st game line up:
Dream Bombers: Nozawa, Fujiie, Camu, Akun
Jounetsu Rainbows: Sanada, Yone, Yodogawa, Shoon

Tsubasa judged by audience reaction.

I forget the name of the game, but the one where Goseki is always a girl. ;D
Anyway, first challenge - be a cat or something. Idk. They gave Sanada and Nozawa cat ears to wear and they both did really lame things. Sanada twirled, so he got my vote. And lost.

Koyama made Shige demonstrate. He stuck the cat ears on Shige's head, and after a lot of annoyed faces and protesting from Shige, including an actual facepalm, Shige agreed. And as it's counting down the "3, 2, 1" Shige was unbuttoning his shirt and we just KNEW what he was doing. I don't think Koyama could see (he was behind him). But as soon as the buzzer went to start, Shige opened his shirt all the way and then his belt and started in on his pants. Got through the button I think before Koyama figured it out and intervened. MAYBE NEXT TIME, SHIGE. XD

Although I think Koyama's learned his lesson about forcing Shige to demonstrate games. XD

Next was a VTR of Ho! Summer and they made Yone and Fujiie dance it. LOL. Yone was like "omg no no no no no" because hah. Question? dancing. I know some of them CAN, but. Yeah, well that was massive fail. Fujiie was hilarious though because he stopped trying entirely and did something like Michael Jackson's thriller hands or idek. Tsubasa got up and was like WATCH AND FOLLOW and they sort of did, until Fujiie just stopped and gave up. He should have won for sheer comedy, but no.

Ooh, that reminds me. He sang a solo bit in Question?'s performance (Akun, too!) and was great (Akun, too!).

Challenge three was like... pick a person to pretend to be and have a conversation with Tsubasa. Camu picked Takki and failed pretty miserably. Yodogawa chose Nakamaru and BEATBOXED. LOL. His entire impression was really good and really funny. Totally deserved that win, good for him! :D

Shoon vs. Akun was last. They had to be a "gyaru" on the phone or something. Using sparkly cell phones with huge cute charms. WITH WIGS. When Akun was putting on his wig, Fujiie was positively DYING. Yone didn't fair much better during the whole thing, kind of falling over in his seat and cracking up. Yodogawa was fairly... unmoved, as usual. XD Koyama was hiding his face behind his book, but that didn't help when he doubled over. Good times. I forget who won.

Second Game:
Same line-up, with Camu being replaced with the not!Ishigaki.

"Shige-chan presents" what's-in-the-box.

First round - Sanada vs. Nozawa - Naan

They both touch the bread and it's hanging from the top in the center of the box, so it moves and they freak out, shrieking and jumping back. They keep sort of reaching in and poking at it and flailing, and finally Shige is like "OMG FINE A HINT. IT'S FOOD." And Sanada was like OH. and just reached in and grabbed it. XD Nozawa's first guess = wrong. Sanada's guess = wrong. Nozawa's second guess = wrong. Sanada's second guess mustn't have been food, because Shige got annoyed and was like DIDN'T YOU LISTEN TO MY CLUE, GEEZ. They didn't get it. Zero points.

Second round - Fujiie vs. Yone - Seaweed

If you've never seen Fujiie play this game, you're missing out. Because he is THE. BIGGEST. WIMP. EVER. He starts whimpering even before he gets near the box. The second he touches something, he spazzes out, jumps ten feet from the box, screams and cowers in a ball saying "scary scary scary!" It is hard to convey the enormity of his freak-out. Definitely a must-watch, if just for that. At some point, Yone says "miso soup" and Shige's like, "well, it's IN miso soup" I think? And even though Yone's been touching the thing for a while and Fujiie hasn't got near it barely, Fujiie's like SEAWEED. To which Yone has a little hissy fit and stamps his foot on the stage. LOL.

Third round - not!Ishigaki vs. Yodogawa - Pineapple

More flailing in general. Yodogawa gets up the courage to actually feel around the thing. He plays with the leaves and is like "a vegetable?" And Shige tells him he's close, so he feels around more and comes up with pineapple, for the win.

Fourth round - Akun vs. Shoon - turtle

I totally predicted it, but it was still hysterical. The turtle was tiny and moving around the bottom. Of course both of the boys reach in and end up touching each other and jumping WAY back and screeching. They did this A. LOT. They couldn't find the turtle for the longest time, just kept touching each other and flailing. At one point they were just holding hands inside the box, and Shige was like OKAY, STOP. Akun eventually found the turtle, then Shoon, but they'd jump back and it'd move and they'd lose it. I think Akun finally got that right? No, I don't know. Why do I not remember who won with these two?

I know it was 2 to 1 at the end for that, but... I don't remember the winning team. FAIL

Ending songs:

Koi Uta, which is the new T&T song? I think? It's slow. Pretty but totally a letdown for an ending song. The other song wasn't much better. I wasn't familiar with it, but it was also sloooow.

Oh! At some point Koyama and Shige sang, but it was something I'd NEVER HEARD. O_O My only impression of it now is "water." Not sure what that means. They did Chirarism or however you romanize that.

And things are sort of blurry now, so I'll just stop here.

Monthly (hopefully) Shokura report over. I'm out. ;D
