Summary 2008 Flail
First of all, a warning. This isn't a report. I am not trying to be accurate or record things. This is just me flailing over cute things or people noticing me or whatever. So read if you want, or not. It's for me to remember. :)
At the Johnny's Theatre in Odaiba.
First of all, I did go to Summary on the 10th. My seat was further back then, so not many people came up that far. Arioka did, and was very happy to see my NY uchiwa. Chinen came close, but he was singing and his hair was completely covering his eyes, so it was impossible to see where he was looking. But he was directly facing me, and well, I'm really, really white. So I'm pretty sure he saw. Also, he is ridiculously tiny, no joke. He looks small on TV and in magazines, but in real life? He's even smaller. ^_^
Some things changed between last week (it was just last week?!) and now. The kansai boys (aka B.A.D. mostly) weren't there today. :( Their song got replaced with A.B.C-Z. What is A.B.C-Z you ask? I REALLY DON'T KNOW. It consists of A.B.C. and Hasshi. I think. Except sourangel thinks Shoon was there and one of the members of A.B.C. was missing, and I think she might be right, so... really, I have no idea. It's funny though, because Hasshi is a lot taller than the rest of them.
Okay, so now we have A.B.C-Z (wtf punctuation), Top 3, A.B.C. and Shoon... riiiight.
Anyways, on to the flail. Our seats this time were waaaaaaay on the side, and right near the front, since the real front section ended before that point. This meant we could mess around with all the chibis on stage, and oh man, is that ever fun. XD They are always super thrilled when we wave at them or whatever. Plus adorable. They talk and fool around while they're dancing and don't always focus and ahahaha, so fun to watch.
People who definitely, 100% saw us: Tsuka-chan, Keito, Yabu, Inoo, Yuto
Tsuka-chan really liked my A.B.C. + Shoon uchiwa. Keito liked sourangel's "Prince Keito" one. He also liked that I knew the whole dance to Ultra Music Power. Yabu seemed generally glad to see us, as did Inoo and Yuto. More on Yabu later.
People who 95% sure saw us: Nika (a;sdkfja;sldjkf FINALLY), Senga, Yamada
People who probably saw us: Everyone. ^_^ Let's face it. The place is TINY. Really TINY. And we were pretty close. And very, very white. People tend to notice. Specifically I'm pretty sure Tama and Miyata saw, although possibly everyone in Kisumai, since they skated right past. Not sure though, because they were concentrating on not falling on their asses.
Which Tama did, at one point. They all have to jump from this platform, and the combined height plus jump likely has them falling six feet to land on skates. Today only three of them managed. Yokoo only messed up slightly, going down on one knee, but Tama completely wiped out. Oops. Nika managed to stay on his feet today. Although he did trip on the stairs and grab for the railing. XD
Oh, and another change. At the end, with all the water... this time everyone took off their tops, not just the chibis. And holy shit. Hello, Kisumai. I. Umm. Yeah.
Moving on. At that point I was holding my bug uchiwa and Nika kanji, and Nika was definitely looking right in our direction. I am pretty positive he saw it, because he then was kind of leaning to try to look around the spray of water. I think trying to read the writing. Senga looked directly over at one point and also, I'm pretty sure, saw the bug. I don't think he got it, though. Nika definitely couldn't read it from that far, so when they passed us going off, he looked over again and although he didn't really do anything or react, he got this weird half-smile on his face like he was amused.
I love Yabu a lot. No judging, okay? He was ADORABLE. I like the songs he sings in the show (shut up, I do). And then when he wasn't doing anything at one point, he crouched down right next to one of the chibis and STARED AT HIM. The kid dancing was like "..." and kept going, and then tried not to laugh, and Yabu just stared the whole. Time. And then kind of looked him up and down. And stared more. Ahahaha, awkward. But hysterical. And when the chibis finished, Yabu applauded the kid in this "bravo, good job" kind of way. Cute~!
Another point, Yuto aimed a finger at Yabu and "shot" him and Yabu fell to the stage and died. And refused to get up. And Yuto kept looking at him like "wait, um..." And then went to give him a hand up, but it took three of the HSJ members to bring him back to life or whatever. And then throughout the song, Yuto kept glancing over, as if to check that Yabu was okay. XD
Yuto's whole tap sequence? WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IRELAND. Pardon me for missing that last time, but like... he was tap dancing. And I guess to people who know nothing about Irish dancing at all, maybe that's a good approximation, but seeing as I was a championship dancer, it didn't even register to me that that was what he was doing. Or attempting. Idk. It was COOL, but nothing about the entire sequence was Irish at all. Except the colors. I liked it a lot, I just didn't realize. LOL.
The flying is always fun, and I really enjoy HSJ's opening costumes. With these big metallic wing things coming off one shoulder and a drapy bit connecting their arm to their side and like. Yeah, cool. And red.
Casey Anderson is the new Jimmy Mackey.
Oh, and you know how Fujiie never sings, but then when he did on Shounen Club, it was like OH. HE CAN SING. WELL. With Kisumai's new song, it's kind of like that with Nika. He almost never sings. But now he does. And dude, HE CAN SING. Let the boy sing MORE, damn it. Oh god, I want a recording of this SO BAD. Must wait for Shokura to be released. ANOTHER MONTH, AUGH.
Hikaru has pulled off the air juggling twice now, that I've seen. I wonder if he's ever dropped the balls. 'Cause that would suck. And watching them all rave? Is... funny. Conceptually, anyway. At one point, some of the HSJ boys had a chibi attendant, sort of. Chinen's was bigger than him, ahahahaha.
Alien (Yuma) got replaced by Shintarou.
Yamada's solo gets stuck in my head.
I like the dance to "Your Seed." Oh! I just realized, HSJ never stood in front of J10 like they did before. Hmm.
I tried waving at Fujiie, and he may have seen me, but the angle... it was hard to tell. Idk. He kept looking over my direction.
Running out of things to say. I'm sure I've already forgotten a lot.
Oh! Right! After we bought goods (took only a short time), allll the chibis came out. The others had left on buses earlier, but the chibis have to use the trains. Aww. They basically come out en masse and walk through a mob of fans. The staff made us part to let them through of course. Some of them looked happy, some completely apathetic (or even texting on their phones), and some looked terrified. Once they got through, there were a few that took off running. I don't know if they were scared or trying to make a train, but then there were a few girls who took off after a bunch of them. Creepy~. I didn't recognize most, although I did see Masuda Ryo. And that Wesley kid.
Okay, I might think of things later. If not... well, there you go. :D
