Shounen Club December Episode Tapings Report

Nov 18, 2008 00:40

Definitely one of the best filmings I've been to, hands down.

As usual, no order at all. >_<

Songs I remember as being part of various medleys:

Keep the Faith
Miracle Starter
Summertime
Happy Birthday
Taiyou no Namida
Snow, Snow, Snow
Chance to Change
Mayonaka no Shadow Boy (B.I. Shadow)
Miso Soup (Uekusa and Taiga again)

Sanada and Nowawa did TORN as part of a medley. OH YES. YES, I wanted a recording of this so bad. OH YAY. :D

There were lots of other songs, and I forget completely who did what.

Kisumai did a Hikaru Genji song on skates. HURRAH.

Kisumai wore their new gold costumes! SWOOSHY.
They also wore the red, white, and blue ones at one point. ALSO SWOOSHY.
And the new white ones. AGAIN, SWOOSHY.
Seeing a theme here? If any of you ever get confused about groups, take a look at their bottom half. Got swooshy? That's Kisumai. XD

One of the talks was with the Natto Club. As they went off stage, two of them shouted in succession, "I LOVE NATTO." But that was after cameras stopped rolling. :P

SOLOS. Well, most of them. Tama, Yokoo, Miyata, Taipi, and Kitayama all sang the solos they did in the con. Taipi singing "Let Me" by Yamapi... really, Taipi is a total whore. Not complaining. XD Kitayama's is entirely in English. Miyata's is the Shingo Mama song and it is crazy fun. I am going to be THRILLED to have recordings of Tama and Miyacchi and Yokoo SOLO.

Kisumai sang Inori, so Senga got that bit and all. Nika's solo was really an entire scene, and unlike everyone else in the shows, who sang a verse and chorus only, Nika's rap thing was a few minutes long. I'm hoping he'll do part of it at some point...

Goseki did his silhouette thing, except with no screen/shadow, and significantly shorter. Still hot. But just imagine that times ten and you might get an approximation of the concert version.

Yamamoto sang C = NORMAL with three other members from his group (not Butoukan).

Question? sang Mezamero! Yasei (however you punctuate that).

Koyama, Nakamaru, and Maru(yama) did a You&J medley (You&J is the fanclub for those three groups, in case you didn't know). Kind of hysterical for me, because oh man, Nika does NOT know the dance to Happy Birthday AT ALL. Everyone bowed and he didn't, and it just went downhill from there. He didn't turn at the right time, was a good second behind on hand motions... really just had NO CLUE. Oh, Nika. ♥ It went into the new K8 Muse... Hero (spelling?) and he had no trouble with that.

Games. Oh, the games. They did a new one that was super brilliant.

First though, was the good old Sukkari fight, or whatever that's called.
Rainbows: Kitayama, Kawai, Tama, Shoon
Bombers: Miyata, Taipi, Goseki, Tottsu(?)

Goseki didn't have to be a girl, but he was anyway. LOL. Kawai was MatsuJun working in a convenience store. Somehow he managed to use the dance moves to imitate checking out customers... FUNNY. Shoon volunteered Tama to help him. They were funny together. Miyata managed on his own.
Kitayama failed super-hard at whatever he was supposed to do and ended up throwing himself into his chair and burying his head in Shoon's lap. XD XD XD
There was no time and Taipi did nothing.

Second game: Musical Chairs, sort of.
Rainbows: Kitayama, Kawai, Tama, Shoon, No...zawa?, Tsuka
Bombers: Taipi, Miyata, Tottsu, Sanada (i may be switching him and Nozawa), Goseki, Nika

...Nika? What the hell, he switched teams. Random.

Anyway, they placed six stools in the middle of the twelve people and did musical chairs, except they had to dance as they went around. Obviously six people were out on the first round. Taipi sat on Kitayama's lap. Didn't count. :P Next was down to three. Nozawa won that round.
Lots of people end up on the floor.
Round two... Taipi was too focused on the dance and people kept pushing him in the circle. Taipi pushed Kawai down and sat on him, and Goseki stole the stool from them both, moved it far away, and then calmly sat down. Final three were Tsuka, Nika, Senga. Instead of trying to sit on the chair, Tsuka stuck his ass out over it just as Nika and Senga tried to get there, and basically butt-bumped them. HARD. Because Senga and Nika went flying and sprawled across the stage. Nika seemed sort of stunned, actually. LOLOL.

Then, they made it twelve people and ONE STOOL. All the juniors trying to get their ass into the same space. OH GOD, FUNNY. Nika didn't even TRY. Clearly he learned his lesson, because there was a big pile of eleven people and Nika just stood off to the side and laughed.
Miyata won that.

Oh, during one introduction, Taipi said "How are you?" and then Tottsu said "I'm fine, thank you," for their intro bits.

During one talk, Koyama was being all friendly with Yokoo, and we were like "eh?" And then remembered. Oh, right (back in the day there was that group, you know? KKKity? *wink*).

Nakamaru beatboxed while Maru played bass. Question? backed them on a song. Yasu, I was really skeptical about on Shokura and he really impressed me. Maru, not so much. It was sort of boring. But Question? provided nice backup (both instrumental and singing) and they were all looking good (as opposed to half-dead like Tottsu and some of the others, but then coming back from China this morning probably took a lot out of them). Akun's hair is... nice? O_O

EbiKisu sang Days as an ending song, but on stage was Kisumai, Sanada/Nozawa, A.B.C. and SHOON. O_O No Hasshi. I'm sure it's because of Hasshi's age and the working time limits, but still. That's what it should have been all along. I don't mind Hasshi being there so much now, but... ah well.

Oh, that reminds me. Before A.B.C.-Z's song, Hasshi put down his mic and we though, oh, is only Hasshi going to do a flip? Turns out that no, they all do it, but everyone else can hold their mic because they can do it one-handed. HAH. Hasshi fail.

And... Okay, I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot, but it's late and I'm exhausted. If people remind me of things, I'll try to add them in later.

Sorry!
