Senga Kento, TALKs about the theme "travel" & this fall's recent situation☆
★It's been 2 months since your CD debut... tell us about your recent work!
I went on my first location shoot for the show we've become regulars for, "Moshimo Tours," but did you watch it? The theme was "an eating excursion to Toyosu," and it was really fun! Up until now, I haven't worked with other comedians much, and at first we just tried to get laughs on our own [instead of working with them]. We did it while thinking about how to get laughs on TV, and in the end, just by being honest and enjoying ourselves, I think we were able to communicate that fun to the viewers as well. Or it felt like that. From now on, I'd like to become better friends with the other regulars! I'd like you to mess around with me more! (laugh) Also, we've just started a radio program! It's the first time to reach out to the audience with just our voices, and I was worried about whether we'd be able to express ourselves, but I just relaxed and did it♪ I've also gotten used to the high energy level for radio. On the radio, it's just voices, so if you don't have more energy than usual, it sounds unexpectedly normal. I've been learning things like this every day.
★Speaking of your regular appearances on "Moshimo Tours"... let's talk about "travel." How about memories of traveling with the members?
When we went to different regions, the part I look forward to most is being taken out to eat after the lives. (laugh) For example, in Nagoya we'd go for tebasaki and tenmusu. At the hotel, I usually share a room with Nikaido, and the two of us reflect on the performance. We're pretty serious? Afterward, if Nikaido falls asleep before me, I'll jump on the bed next to him and wake him up and stuff. (laugh) Conversely, if I fall asleep first, he'll set the alarm for one minute and wake me up with it. Well, I guess it's probably because we both get lonely easily. (laugh)
★Necessary things for a trip?
My cell phone and my wallet and my digital camera and my music player and... oh, and I also bring shampoo! I think I bring more than most of the other members. I'm the type to take things just in case, even if I don't use them.
★If you were to take a 2-person trip with the other members, what kind of trip would it be?
With Kitamitsu, maybe a barbeque in the mountains. Fishing with Tama. I'd go to Akiba with Miyata. I want him to show me the charms of Akiba! I want to go with Gaya-san to Okinawa to look at the beautiful sea and sky. With Yokoo-san, I want to go to Daikanyama and have tea at a cafe - I want him to show me a mature mood. With Nikaido, L.A.! Among the members, he's the worst at English, so I want him to do all the navigating and communicating for us, just to see how well he can manage. (laugh)
What do you do with your younger brother? If you have any fun ideas for things to do together...

My brother is two years younger than me, and gradually our interests have become more similar, and I've noticed that we've started to think that the same kinds of things are "nice/good." Going shopping together, going out to eat together... we're together quite a lot.
A QUESTION from Sen-chan to Taipi!!
Gaya-san, you changed your hairstyle for your role in the drama "Ikemen Desu Ne," but if you could change it however you like, what would you want to do?
As usual, a fairly loose translation I think, and suggestions are always welcome. :) Probably a bit less loose now that En's had at it. ;)
