I'm sorry it took so long for me to reply to this- things got a bit busy. But I read it and absolutely loved it, from beginning to end. It was just perfect in every way! I really loved the idea of Lane calling Rory and freaking out, because it was something that she would do.

You totally nailed all the characters, even Paris. I could just imagine her expression as she handed the phone back to Rory. I love Rory and Lane's conversation and how Lane brought up Jess.

Of course, the Lane and Dave reunion was my favorite part. You captured their voices perfectly and I could hear them in my head. The dialogue was great ... the rambling by both of them cracked me up and the ending was just perfect.
