I'm sorry I haven't been better in touch. What is your opinion on cell phones?

So after a month of dead phone--which I didn't mind nearly as much as I expected--I finally captured the time to invest in getting a new one. I entered the rogers store with demands, and I walked out with a motorolla krzr. It feels a a big step up from my v551. And yet I am left wondering ( Read more... )

the only phone I ever had was in S. Korea.
Anycall
Down payment of 50$ for the phone for 3 months. I think you get some of your money back when you return the phone!
and then a monthly payment depending on my phone calls and texting.
1st m. I paid maybe 10$
2nd m. I paid approx. 24$
3rd m. I paid less than 10$ because I accidently flushed it down the toilet!!!
And had to pay for the charger seperately!! 5$ tops!

maybe I'm not the best person to ask!!

That Korean phone sounds like the super cheap! Was it some kind of pay as you flush?

Aliant is no better. We have a razr with 222 day time minutes plan with 100 text messages from Aliant and it's around 50$ a month when you add in all the fees. We don't seem to get charged for incoming messages tho, and I've heard Roger customers say they do. I was thinking of switching tho, because our last bill we used 98 minutes TOTAL (not even just daytime), so clearly we're overpaying for what we use. I think $50 a month for a cell phone is INSANE as it is... I don't think I could ever justify an iPhone, as cool as I think they are. I do often wish I had a blackberry for work tho, I've missed meetings because of being away from my computer and missing my little calendar notifier.

For how much you used your cell phone last month, $50 is outrageous!
