There was an accident by my house today. It should not have happened. Since it involved a bicycle, on a route I cycle every day to get to work, I have been quite worried by it. I hope the poor guy who got hurt is okay

I'm happy the response was quick. And hopefully John will be back on his bicycle soon!! Also, I think you are right to write a letter, though I don't know how much of a say they have in the matter - since it's a provincial issue rather than a city issue
