I'm so making her into an icon when I can get some better pics of her.
I miss her already and I can't wait to get home to her.
I'm going to get her a different water bottle and some toys tonight.
do you give yours actual fruit?

I do give Oy fruit every now and then. Here is a list from this site of rat friendly fruits and veggies:

* Apple (seedless)
* Banana
* Broccoli
* Brussel Sprouts - small amounts occasionally
* Carrots
* Cauliflower leaves and stalks
* Cucumber
* Grapes
* Kiwi
* Mango
* Parsley - a good tonic
* Peas
* Romaine Lettuce
* Tomato

The only thing I removed from the list is regular lettuce. There is no nutritional value in it what so ever that a rat will benefit from and most rats I have met only like dark greens like spinach, parsley and romaine. Tanda is a bit young to have a lot of fruit in her diet but little tastes to see what she likes would be fine.

I appreciate any advice you can give me. How the heck do you potty train a rat (or any rodent, for that matter)? I saw a litter box in the pet store and was surprised and pleased that it was even possible.
I gave Tanda a little piece of apple, and I think that's possibly going to be her favorite treat- she grabs it right out of my hand and starts nibblin away.
I'm so tired. I'd much rather be at home with her than here at work (which equates to hell)

Awww. My wife would find this quite cute! She used to have a pet rat a long time ago and still dreams about her and misses her!

Great picture of you both! Thanks for sharing!

Take care!
