did anyone (who cares to admit to it) read "choose your own adventure" books as a younger person?

God, almost all of them at the Sunnyside Library, and then the Ramsey County library. I was also the kind of person that had four fingers in the book, so I could go back if I needed to. lol.

I'm quite glad I'm not the only one!

I'm considering what to do for next quarter's capstone project. For quite some time I've been tossing around the idea of a text-based rpg modeled after the old "choose your own adventure" books.
