so, the class i thought i'd nearly fail (the programming one) i ended up with an A in. i knew by the last week i'd pass without a problem, but an A still surprised me. my project was nowhere near where it was supposed to be, and it was worth 25% of my grade, so i figured if I got an A in everything else, i could end up with a B. i had an a on my ( Read more... ) -
Writer's Block: Saturday Night
Five years ago I lived with my then-husband and our toddler. The toddler was up at 4:00am and the husband worked until 10:00pm, usually got home about midnight. i am in a perfectly horrible, foul mood right now. it's one of those moods where it wouldn't matter how perfect everything was, it'd seem wrong anyway. i hate everything, and damn near everyone. it seems like i'm just looking fr a reason to scream at someone. it'd be a good night to attend a political debate or something. -

yesterday was nicely uneventful. dropped x off at his school, went to mine to fill out financial aid forms, went in to work for a little bit. picked x up, took him shopping for a holiday gift for his cousin. we went home, he colored for a while and i read my book, then we wrapped gifts, watched scooby doo, and went out to dinner with my parents ( Read more... )
