One Time Thing

"Noona! Are you sure we should be out here?!"

"Key, I promise you we'll be fine." Jessica assured her younger cousin.

"But, what if uncle or auntie or anyone else decides to check up on us?"

"Stop worrying. They didn't do that for the past two nights, they won't start doing so now."

Key decided to stop whining before Jessica gets really irritated. He continued to follow Jessica around the beach, but his eyes caught sight of a lonely figure causing him to stand in place.

Jessica turned back, only to see that Key is standing still, with an worried expression.

"Key, why the hell aren't you moving?"

Key place a finger on his lip, gesturing for Jessica to be quiet.

Jessica approached Key, "What is it?" She whispered.

"There's someone over there."

"Okay, and? We'll just mind our own business and walk pass that person."

"Not being judgmental, noona, but I'm not exactly fond of coming near strangers who are suited up in a black hoodie at 2AM."

Jessica laughed. How could she not?

"Say what? I'll walk past them, and if I'm okay, walk towards me when I give you a thumbs up."

"NO! What if something happens to you?!"

"Well..." Jessica trailed off and then just sped off into the direction towards the lone stranger.

"NOONA!!!" Key yelled. Now, he's contemplating whether to actually run after Jessica or not.

He ran after her of course.

Jessica ran towards the stranger, stopping about 10 feet away from them.

Jessica now sees that the stranger is a girl - a pretty girl at that. She then runs back to Key.

"Noona! Why would you do that?! You scared me!"

"Hey, you can go back now. I think I'll chill out here for a little bit."

"What? You want me to leave you here alone? That's not safe. Let's both go back."

"The stranger's a pretty girl though." That's when Key decided to glare at Jessica.

"Seriously? You're kidding."

"I'm really not. You know I have yet to see one cute girl on this trip. It's making me sad."

Key let out a scoffing chuckle, "Noona, you'll live without talking to a pretty girl for like two more weeks."

"But it's boring."

"I'm here!"

"I know, but as much as I love you, you are not a pretty girl."

Key scoffed, feigning offense, "Well then."

Jessica laughed, "Love you, Key! Go back and I'll see you in like an hour or so! Cover for me if anything happens!" After a peck on the cheek, Jessica ran back towards the girl.

She confidently stood in front of the pretty girl and waved at her. The girl was pretty taken aback on how a stranger is acting so friendly towards her and surprise that there's someone else on the beach besides herself at this time of night/morning.

The girl began to take out her headphones.

That explains why she didn't even hear or notice mines or Key's presence. Jessica thought.

"Uh, hello." The girl awkwardly greeted.

"Hi, what brings you here so late?" Jessica talked to the girl as if they were friends.

The girl just gave her an awkward look, contemplating whether or not to actually answer Jessica.

"You must find it really weird that a stranger had just approached you so freely." Jessica said.

The girl nodded and let out a soft chuckle, "a bit."

"I'm sorry to appear strange, but I just had to approach you when I saw you. I'm Jessica, nice to meet you."

"Tiffany, nice to meet you too."

"Mind if I take a seat besides you?"

"Not at all."

"So, what brings you out here so late?"

"I just left a party."

"Ah, a party." Jessica said with an amused look on her face, her eyebrows rising up as she smirks.

"Not a wild party, if that's what you're thinking. A farewell party, actually."

"Oh, you have a friend leaving?"

"Actually, the party was for me. I'm moving soon for my job."

"Aw, well I hope wherever you move to, you'll enjoy it."

"Thank you." Tiffany said, smiling her friendly smile at Jessica.

"You have an adorable smile." Jessica said then chuckled awkwardly, "I'm sorry, I have a tendency to speak what's on my mind."

Tiffany smiled again, "It's fine. Thank you. So what brings you here?"

"Family vacation. I got a bit bored so I decided to take a stroll. I'm really glad I did."

"Why?"

"Because now I get to converse with a gorgeous girl instead of my male cousin."

Tiffany chuckled, "You're a sweet talker, aren't you?"

"To certain pretty girls, yes. Genuine thought, trust me."

"I think I might just because you're pretty cute yourself."

Jessica chuckle, "You're a sweet talker yourself, huh?"

"Not usually, but I guess you got it out of me."

"I feel quite honored."

"You should."

Maybe it's because the girl is so pretty. Maybe it's because they conversed so comfortably together even though they only met for about three hours, but Jessica is definitely fond of this girl.

"Wanna take a dip?" Jessica asked.

"Sure," Tiffany answered then took off her hoodie.

Jessica stood up first, offering Tiffany a helping hand, which Tiffany gladly took.

The girls reached the water shortly, water only touching their feet.

"Whoa, the water's pretty cold." Jessica said.

Tiffany nodded, "Yeah, you wanna go back?"

"We'll get use to the temperature after staying in it for a while!" Jessica exclaimed as she pulled Tiffany into the water with her causing the latter to shriek.

"Oh my god, oh my god!"

Jessica laughed as she let go of Tiffany's hand and began to splash water on her.

Tiffany also began to laugh and splashed water back at Jessica.

After splashing water at each other for a bit, Jessica decides to close the gap between them by snaking her arms around Tiffany's waist. Tiffany stopped laughing, surprised due to their close proximity.

"I'm gonna warm you up now." Jessica said with a smirk.

Tiffany smirked back, "Aren't you a bit too close for comfort?"

"Are you uncomfortable? Ooh, let me take a step back."

Tiffany laughed and took a hold of the collar of Jessica's v-neck to keep her still.

"Actually, I am comfortable. A little too comfortable."

"There aren't many cons to being too comfortable."

"I suppose."

"Are you warming up?"

"A little bit."

"I really can't stop looking at you. You're beautiful."

Tiffany's heart skipped a beat at the word.

Jessica began to lean a bit closer towards Tiffany's face, only to be lightly pushed back.

"We've only known each other for three hours." Tiffany said.

Jessica laughed, disappointment obvious in her laugh, "You're right, but think of it as a summer romance or something - a one time thing."

"Has anyone ever had a summer romance in three hours?" Tiffany asked with an amused smile.

Jessica smiled back, unable to resist the smile, "We can be the first."

The two has yet to stop smiling since they began talking.

"A one time thing." Tiffany whispered before she pulled Jessica's neck to close the small gap between their lips.

Jessica took full advantage of the kiss. She removed one of her arms that's around Tiffany's waist and moved it up to the girl's face to deepen the kiss. She licked and pulled at Tiffany's bottom lip, of course Tiffany allowed the entrance. Jessica roamed her tongue smoothly inside Tiffany's mouth, eliciting a soft moan from Tiffany making Jessica smile. Jessica removed herself from the steaming kiss first, then moved her lips towards Tiffany's ear.

"I think I like you." Jessica semi-jokingly whispered into Tiffany's ear.

Tiffany smiled as she moved her lips towards Jessica's ear, "I think I like you too."

The two laughed at their cheesiness.

"Hey look, the sun is rising." Jessica pointed out.

"I think it's time for us to go back to our respective areas."

Jessica pout, "I kind of don't want to go back yet."

"Aww," Tiffany pouted herself, "one time thing though..."

"Can I walk you home or something?"

"My car, sure."

"Let's go." Jessica said as she grabbed Tiffany's hand to go to the shore to grab their stuff before leaving.

"You honestly made this vacation of mines really memorable." Jessica said.

Tiffany smiled, "You made this a memorable last day."

The two walked in a comfortable silence. They, afterall, have been talking for the past almost four hours.

"There's my car." Tiffany said sadly.

Jessica pulled Tiffany's face in for a much lighter kiss on the lips.

"I hope you'll like the new place you're moving too. I'm so glad I met you on this trip."

"Thank you, and I am so glad I met you as well."

"Drive safely." Jessica said as she pecked Tiffany's forehead.

"Noona! You're finally back!" Key yelled right at the sound of the doorknob turning. The two are sharing a double bed room.

"Key, why aren't you asleep?"

"I was waiting for your ass to come back! I texted and called your phone like 500 times! Where the hell have you been?!"

"I was with Tiffany."

"The stranger?"

Jessica nodded, "She's beautiful. I miss her already."

"You sound lovestruck."

Jessica looked at Key, dumbstruck.

"I just wish it wasn't a one time thing." Jessica said followed by a sneeze.
