I am Sam. Your posts about creativity always make me wonder what I'm meant to be doing with Annabel, either now or in the future, and how I'll think of any of it. We don't do activities, or creative anything. We use toys and do household things.
My MIL gave me, for my birthday, some hand puppets, and a book and coloured pens, to make a story for Annabel. Annabel uses the hand puppets, gives them to me, and I make them say "Hello, I'm Elephant". The book and pens are in a cupboard somewhere.

I don't describe myself as creative - not in the popular/traditional sense where one is imaginative and designs things from scratch

that's some awesome stuff there l. i'm doing more "arty" stuff. i'm going to build an airbrush booth, and look at doing pictures and stuff using my airbrush. i'm doing more drawing, and looking at doing a jewellery making course when I can afford it. i'm really into steampunk, but haven't had a chance to buy much "steampunk" stuff, like cogs and gears. it seems when you whack a lake like "steampunk" on something, people double the price.

how big are you looking at making the cogs? pauly has a laser cutter, and i'm getting him to cut some out of sheet styrene, I can get him to let you know how it goes.
