Work is good. I'm very happy at my new job, it's a great fit for me culturally and creatively. I have an awesome officemate and I even like the clients. Since my work life is running smoothly, it makes sense for my personal life to downward spiral. Life can never provide good hands of both, simultaneously. Remember that chemo is EXTREMELY debilitating. His body is barely starting to recover before he has to go in for another round, so the cumulative effects will make him very weak. Essentially, there's a war going on in his body and no one can bounce back from that quickly.

The best thing he can do is rest and let the battle take its course. Y'all are doing the right thing by working around the situation.

If you need more information, you might want to reach out to some caregiver organizations like CancerCare. It's okay to need help, information, and someone to break all of this down for you. Talk to the doctors, but understand they can only tell you limited things due to patient confidentiality and HIPPA.
