I bought an area rug for my apartment today. It's red faux shag. I was looking for a cream shag area rug, but they are hard to find or expensive and this one was right in front of me while I was at a store with a car at my disposal and cost $20. It's been a unlucky few weeks for me. My laptop died, I lost my wallet and I tore my meniscus all in 4 days. It took some time to dig out from that black cloud. Then I had a few bad days at work. Here's something to journal about. I'm very close to my Dad, actually, I'm close to my Mom and my brother and many of my cousins and aunts and uncles too. I spent last week on vacation at my usual family summer place. I hadn't taken a vacation in over a year and that's including quitting my previous job and relocating to another state. I was thinking tonight, as I got drunk, that I don't think as much anymore. Not like I used to. I used to think to no end. I had plans and theories and analysis' many times over.
