As most of you know out there, I'm a Mormon, and a conservative Republican, and yes, I support Mitt.  I have truthfully looked at the other Republican candidates out there.  Some of them I might be able to hold my nose and vote for.  Others, I just simply could not bring myself

Hear hear on not needing stress!! :)

(I use the term loosely because I am a Christian AND a Mormon but most of these so-called born-agains do not act Christian in any way whatsoever . . . but I digress) consider Mormons/LDS as Satan worshipers and would rather shoot themselves in the head by supporting someone who does not uphold any of their beliefs but SAYS he is Christian than vote for someone who IS a Christian in word and deed. I think it is ridiculous how Mormons are stigmatized. Honestly, I'm an atheist for what I feel are very good reasons (i.e. I have read the Bible, taken Buddhist philosophy, philsophy of relgion, and am fairly well-educated especially in Philosophy, History, and English, have attended church/been part of youth groups for years (Catholic and Methodist), and have come to the conclusion I believe in) but I feel it is a right for people to believe in whatever they choose. I feel so many people use religion as an excuse to fight wars or for personal/political gain, which is morally wrong

Thanks! Glad it didn't offend you. I've only got a flist of about 10 people, maybe less, so every one is important. And you, of course, more than most. By the way, just posted my heroinexchange story on my own journal. Thanks for your help, K, even though your computer sort of died mid-beta, what you did send really helped me refocus and I was happy with the way it turned out.

Hey, is it today that you've got your finals? Can't remember now, sorry. Well, hope they go well. I bet you'll be happy to have a bit of a break. I'm still waiting for . . . what was it again? Oh, yeah! That's right. The infamous chapter 4! Just teasing ya! Know you would rather have been writing than studying, but you've got to do what you've got to do when you're in school.
